Standard Features

Skids (on bottom of buildings)

4”x 6” notched beams for increased strength and to help prevent twisting. They are pressure treated for durability and ground contact.

Floor Joists

2”x 6” which are 50% stronger than the more commonly used 2”x 4”. We also place them on 16” centers, rather than the more common 20”.

Garage Floor Joists

12” centers for a very strong floor to easily support a vehicle.

Flooring

5/8” tongue and groove plywood.

Walls

2” x 4” studs on 16”centers and double top plates.

Window & Door Frames

Headers are built to prevent sagging.

Trusses

2”x 6” with engineered truss plates, on 24” centers.

Roof Sheathing

½” O.S.B. (oriented strand board)

Roof Covering

29 gauge steel, with baked siliconized enamel coating and a 20 yr. warranty.

Siding

Either LP Smart Siding or T-111 Fir.
All T-111 siding is treated with Premium Grade stain
LP Smart Siding is available with or without paint

Security Locks

All doors have a keyed lock.

Lofts

Buildings up to 24’ long have two 4’ lofts except the 8’ x 12’ which has one loft.
Buildings 28’ and longer have two 8’ lofts.

Height

Height 12’ and 14’ foot wide buildings are measured at the eave due to D.O.T. regulations for transport.
